As a biophysicist I’m trained to handle and analyze complex systems. My master thesis carried out at University of Copenhagen and Risø National Laboratory dealt with the analysis of microarray data by use of independent component analysis. During my PhD studies I developed a method for miRNA target prediction applied to microarray data from the Cancer Genome Atlas and developed a model for the regulation of the Wnt pathway during embryo development. After my PhD I’m pursuing my interest for understanding the genetic regulation of non-coding RNAs as a postdoc in the Krogh lab.
Since Septermber 2012 I’ve worked part time in COAT on modeling the kinetics of oligo mediated degradation of RNAs (together with Peter Hagedorn). This project lies within workpackage 5: Prediction of potency of oligonucleotides.
