About

DSF logoCenter for Computational and Applied Transcriptomics (COAT) is a newly established cross disciplinary center made possible by a 5 million EURO grant from the Danish Strategic Research Council. COAT uses cutting edge experimental and computational methods to investigate RNA structure and RNA-protein interactions on a transcriptome wide scale to enable the design of effective and safe RNA drugs.

Here are more details on the overall background and goals of the center.

The major milestones of the project are shown below.

Major milestones for the COAT consortium

The consortium consists of both Danish and international academic partners as well as the Danish biopharmaceutical company Santaris Pharma A/S (read more about the partners).

The project is divided into a number of workpackages, which are described in detail here.
